The Career Practitioners Conference 2018 (CPC2018) is an inaugural Conference organized by Workforce Singapore (WSG), jointly with People & Career Development Association (PCDA). It promises career practitioners such as career coaches, education & career guidance counsellors as well as HR practitioners, social service officers, industry mentors, career consultants and anyone in the role of providing education and career advisory, the opportunity to glean insights from international subject matter experts on the latest career development theories and practices as well as new workplace trends that are influencing hiring practices.
Amidst a challenging global environment and the emergence of the fourth Industrial Revolution, the nature of work and career is fast changing, with the key drivers behind this change due largely to globalisation and technological advancement. To remain competitive, companies must continue to innovate and stay nimble. Traditional linear career path changes and work arrangements will evolve as workers assume multiple careers within their career life span.
Against this backdrop, the Conference theme of “Getting Ready for the Future – New Approaches, New Insights” promises to share with the community today’s latest career development theories that can help Career Practitioners better prepare the workforce in embracing changes in work trends and organisation structures.
Come learn from and interact with our panel of distinguished experts who shall share their deep knowledge in both the study and practice of Career Development!
